Desempregados, com as poupanças empatadas em companhias aéreas que se recusavam a fazer reembolsos, presos num país alheio, com uma viagem de sonho destruída, dois planeadores natos sem poder planear sequer a próxima meia hora. Mas em vez de chorar ou entrar numa espiral de queixumes, decidimos encher o quarto de música. O mais alto que foi possível. E dançámos, descontrolados, durante uma hora. Ainda consigo reviver em câmara lenta aqueles hits antigos que o YouTube lançava, uns atrás dos outros, e nós a sorrir e a dançar, envolvidos nos roupões. Não fazia sentido. O que é mais irónico no meio disto tudo? É que alcatroamos as ruas para ser mais fácil conduzir até ao emprego. E matamo-nos a trabalhar para poder pagar uma viagem até um local puro onde as ruas ainda não tenham sido alcatroadas e a natureza ainda esteja intocada. Dizem-nos que é assim que tem que ser. Dizem eles que é assim a vida. Mas a vida não é isto. Qual é a tua opinião? ✨ . . 🇬🇧 Life can't be about just paying your bills and watching that same TV show every night. There has to be more to it. I find it so ironic that we paved our streets and wrecked nature all around us to make room for better roads where we can drive our way to work. And yet we work ourselves to death to be able to afford a flight to a paradisiac place, one where the roads aren't paved. They shrug their shoulders and tell us that's the way it is.
