🇵🇹 Qual é a vossa opinião sobre a importância do feed todo bonito com as fotografias nas mesmas tonalidades? Há dias em que nos sentimos perdidos aqui no IG. Sem saber muito bem se aquilo que partilhamos tem interesse ou relevância. Daí que as vossas palavras de incentivo sejam sempre tão bem recebidas e tão importantes. ❤️

Apesar das modas, apesar dos presets, apesar de tudo o que é viral, queremos ser nós mesmos. Continuar a postar aquilo que nos dá na gana, sendo genuínos e realistas. Não somos fotógrafos, somos só um casal feliz que ama viajar e inspirar mais pessoas a conhecer o mundo.

Daí que nem todas as fotos sejam perfeitas. Mas todas elas são reais. Todas elas trazem uma memória. Este nascer do sol não é photoshop e os pássaros estavam mesmo a voar, não há cá filtros ou edições topo de gama. 😜

Obrigada a todos que continuam a acompanhar a nossa jornada aqui no IG com partilhas muito sentidas, muito reais e muito IMPERFEITAS. Vocês são espetaculares! ✨

🇬🇧 What's your opinion on presets and having a very clean and neutral feed? Sometimes we struggle not knowing if our work here on IG is good enough. That's why we are always super excited to hear your words of incentive. ❤️

Despite all the fuzz around impeccable photos and great edition skills, we still feel we want to be genuine. Post whatever we want, whenever we want, even when it is not perfect, as long as it is genuine and realistic. We are not photographers. We're just a happy couple traveling the world and looking to inspire others to travel as well.

🇵🇹 Por cada dia chuvoso na Polónia somos brindados com um magnífico dia de céu azul. Gdansk recebeu-nos bem e permitiu-nos matar saudades de outras cidades que nos são tão queridas: as fachadas a lembrar Amesterdão; as margens e canais a lembrar Brugge; aquele edifício amarelo junto ao vermelho claramente a lembrar Copenhaga; as cúpulas pontiagudas de verde metálico tão características do Báltico. Encontrámos em Gdansk uma mistura eclética de tantos sítios especiais onde já fomos tão felizes. Uma cidade nova, mas com um sentimento tão familiar e acolhedor. ✨

For each gloomy, rainy day, Poland has been decent enough to present us with a sunnier follow-up. In Gdansk, we discovered a beautiful city which reminded us of so many incredible places we were fortunate enough to visit in the past. The narrow buildings reminiscent of Amsterdam; the river banks and canals just like the ones in Bruges; the colourful pastel facades so prominent in Copenhagen; or the countless green spires so similar to the ones you can find in the Baltics (we're looking at you, Riga!) when seen from above. Small details that allowed us to go back in time and fondly remember some of the most amazing places we had the chance to see in our travels. It already feels like home!

🇵🇹 Sabias que a cidade de Varsóvia foi comp

🇵🇹 Sabias que a cidade de Varsóvia foi completamente destruída durante a II Guerra Mundial? Não como resultado de bombardeamentos e combates, mas de forma metódica e intencional. Na sequência de uma revolta organizada pelo povo, Hitler ordenou que a cidade fosse completamente aniquilada. Um procedimento de destruição planeado ao detalhe para apagar Varsóvia do mapa. 85% da cidade ficou reduzida a cinzas. Tudo o que podemos visitar hoje no centro histórico da cidade é na realidade uma reconstituição do pós guerra, feita pelos cidadãos a partir de fotografias, pinturas e quadros antigos.

🇬🇧 Did you know Warsaw was almost erased from the map during WWII? Not just as a result of fighting and combats occurring within the city center, but as the consequence of a methodical plan. After the local population organized the iconic Warsaw Uprising, Hitler ordered the city to be utterly destroyed, in a planned process whose main goal was to raze Warsaw to the ground. He almost succeeded, with 85% of the city's buildings being destroyed during the war. In consequence, everything we can visit today in the Old Town is actually a reconstruction of the original area, rebuilt by local authorities and based on old photos and paintings.
