Gdansk recebeu-nos bem e permitiu-nos matar saudades de outras cidades que nos são tão queridas: as fachadas a lembrar Amesterdão; as margens e canais a lembrar Brugge; aquele edifício amarelo junto ao vermelho claramente a lembrar Copenhaga; as cúpulas pontiagudas de verde metálico tão características do Báltico. Encontrámos em Gdansk uma mistura eclética de tantos sítios especiais onde já fomos tão felizes. Uma cidade nova, mas com um sentimento tão familiar e acolhedor. ✨ . . For each gloomy, rainy day, Poland has been decent enough to present us with a sunnier follow-up. In Gdansk, we discovered a beautiful city which reminded us of so many incredible places we were fortunate enough to visit in the past. The narrow buildings reminiscent of Amsterdam; the river banks and canals just like the ones in Bruges; the colourful pastel facades so prominent in Copenhagen; or the countless green spires so similar to the ones you can find in the Baltics (we're looking at you, Riga!) when seen from above. Small details that allowed us to go back in time and fondly remember some of the most amazing places we had the chance to see in our travels.
